Inner Flow (Holistic) Therapies
Counselling
(Psychotherapy)
The mind, body and spirit are intrinsically linked.
Thoughts create feelings that are experienced in the body as physical sensations.
When this energy in motion is able to flow freely and move through the body, the systems in the body function well and can return to homeostasis after being stressed. However, when there is too much stress, too intense and/or lasts for too long, in the absence of resilience and supportive resources the body's ability to digest and integrate energy is hindered.
Undigested energy gets stored in the body as memory, or stuck as trauma.
When suppressed, the energy can create dis-ease.
Counselling and psychotherapy modalities prioritise connection, safety and trust in the therapeutic relationship.
